Abstract

'A Visceral Revolution' is an extended essay meditation on the 'round' images by seminal American visual artist, James Stanford. This critical treatise speaks to two key elements of Stanford's practice: the properties of 'revolution' through the philosophical and mathematical concept of the Möbius Strip.
