Abstract | The proposed chapter will address how a stand-alone module has been used as the anchor within an undergraduate accounting and finance degree programme, to then embed and develop employability skills throughout the curriculum. In addition, the module focuses on the recruitment process for placement and or graduate roles, and how these skills are crucial to this process. The chapter will consider the module structure, content, and assessment also the need for the module fit within a well-designed programme curriculum. One, which can help to scaffold learning and developing a skill-set for employability. Pre-professional identity (PPI) formation perspective is considered in the delivery of the module to enable students to be more aware of their chosen discipline of study. |
