This visual metaphor presents questions of uncertainty and future projection of art schools in the increasingly fractious climate of complex and networked issues faced within the paradigms of the social, built and natural environments. The circumambient perimeters of the school are inquired as porous entities, examining the impact of what enters and what exits the institution.
