Abstract

In 2022, the Yearbook for Pedagogy will be 30 years old. History was a key theme in it from the start. It was a matter of resolutely counteracting the strong efforts, also in education, to normalize the de-thematization of National Socialism and its after-effects. In this yearbook, the talk of the end of history is critically discussed from different perspectives; Since then, social and educational policy developments as well as concrete pedagogical effects are highlighted.
