Abstract

Dr Rhiannon Jones was invited to participate in a Social Connections workshop at RSA House, London. The facilitated conversation focused on the challenges and opportunities of working as a social practitioner in the UK and how we can destabilise systems that are no longer fit for purpose, to create space for more adaptation and human centered approach to the work that is undertaken by community leaders and practitioners.

The outcome of the event is that the RSA will be publishing a working paper with CivicLAB, co-authored by Dr Rhiannon Jones at the University of Derby to publish a short working paper capturing learnings and stories from the workshop.
