| Abstract | This chapter outlines a compassion-focused therapy (CFT) approach to schizotypy. As CFT is an evolution-informed biopsychosocial approach, the chapter explores the key evolved processes underpinning CFT and the way in which many are compromised in schizotypy. Rather than focusing on a general CFT approach, this chapter focuses specifically on self-to-self relating in the form of self-criticism and self-reassurance/compassion. |
