Abstract | Climate change presents an urgent global crisis with significant implications across all regions and sectors and the need for concerted efforts to mitigate its effects and transition towards a net-zero emission society is one of the key challenges of our time. This conceptual paper aims to discuss how digital transformation can support performance measurement in search of a net-zero performance for organizations. Based on a comprehensive literature review, we identify the main aspects related to digital transformation that would allow companies to have their Net Zero Performance Measurement System (NZ-PMS) and propose a preliminary framework to help them define this system. |
